PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEMS
For us at Rinascimento Solare, selecting the products for the composition of a photovoltaic system is not simply a commercial choice, but a real ethical commitment to those who avail of our advice and our services.
As “experts” in the sector, our task is to continuously update ourselves on the innovations proposed by global production, selecting the solutions that represent the best compromise between price, reliability and quality in the different market segments. Our solutions are created in this way: not simply based on the “number of services” but on the “value,” because it is in terms of constancy over time that the real advantages of a well-built photovoltaic system are measured.
What is a photovoltaic system and how does it work?
A photovoltaic system is a system that converts sunlight into electricity using photovoltaic panels. These panels are composed of photovoltaic cells that are able to generate direct current when they are hit by sunlight.
Here is how a photovoltaic system works in short:
1. Absorption of sunlight: Photovoltaic panels absorb sunlight and transform it into electricity thanks to the photovoltaic effect.
2. Direct current generation: Photovoltaic cells generate direct current, which is then converted into alternating current through an inverter, in order to make it compatible with the electricity used in homes.
3. Use of electricity: The electricity produced by the photovoltaic system can be used directly to power household appliances and electrical equipment in the building.
4. Possible energy storage: If a storage system is used, the excess energy produced can be stored in batteries to be used at times when there is no sunlight available.
In short, a photovoltaic system exploits solar energy to generate clean and renewable electricity, contributing to the reduction of environmental impact and energy self-sufficiency thanks to the reduction of electricity bills.
A photovoltaic system has a price and a value
The lowest price is easy to get. It would simply be a matter of assembling all the lowest-cost components on the market today. The result is always compromises: whether in terms of the quality of some components, or in terms of their reliability. Our choice of “specialists” is different. We focus on the value, on the ability of a system to pay for itself over time, guaranteeing safety of operation, reliability and maximum durability.
A good system must have a long life cycle, and throughout this period it must ensure maximum efficiency.
Our job, therefore, is to survey global production, selecting those components that represent the best at the lowest price to always guarantee not the lowest price, but rather the best deal.
